From our President
Hopefully everyone has a small amount of space, by GM Boyd
Good morning, How is everyone doing? It has been a trying week. Hopefully all is well. As time goes on we all will be making adjustments to our lifestyles to accommodate life changes at home, working at home, school work at home, staying at home. It is going to be difficult.
But, don't forget your training, you need to keep training for yourself, for your health, both mental and physical. If you can't take care of yourself you wont be able to take care of anyone or anything else.
Hopefully everyone has a small amount of space in their home to dedicate to their stretching, basic techniques, and forms. Continual training is especially important to the High Rank and older students. It took a long time to get where we are, but it will take only a short time to lose it. "DO"
Remember set some short term goals to achieve a long term goal. A long term goal in this case may be to get back into the Dojang as soon as we can, without losing what we have.
If you need anything, or need assistance with anything , give me a call.
Thanks, we will get through this , GM Boyd

From brain muscle memory to more defined forms, by GM Quam
Make one of your smallest rooms in your living area one of the “Biggest sanctuaries in the house.” Your new personalized private Dojang called the “Showerjang.” You guessed it, poomse in the shower. Doing your forms in the shower can keep your brain muscle spiritually strong. Going through the motions and patterns in your mind allows the visual imagery to manifest stronger deeper stances and more refined full body motions when you work on your poomse in, any larger space available.
This is a good time to work on your singing skills as well, kind of like, “Singing in the Rain.”
Stay healthy and remember to ...KIUP!...into your elbow. GM Quam
